Any time tobacco comes in a pouch, or is widely available, people tend to assume it is somehow lower in quality. Now you and I know that’s not true. Just because something is popular, doesn’t mean it’s bad. And I can rattle off a long list of high-quality pouch tobaccos. Today, that list grows even longer, because I can include Amphora Virginia.
Amphora Virginia is the newest addition to the ever so popular Amphora line of pipe tobacco. This is no ordinary Virginia blend, it is packed with a mixture of straight Virginias coming from Brazil, USA and Zambia. This mixture of Virginias is then heat pressed to marry the flavors together to add to the complexity of this blend. You will still get the inherent Virginia flavors alongside a natural sweetness that any Virginia connoisseur is going to love.
